One race with three different starts

Slow 12.00 (Noon)
  Canadians, play boats, Humbledon special needs
Medium 12.05
  General purpose boats ( less than 4 metres), slaloms
Fast 12.10
  K1, river racer, sea kayak, doubles

 

Entry fees - All entries on the day

 Single boat...........£3.00

 Double boat..........£4.00

 Canadian canoe...£4.00

 

Registration: From 11.00am at Millennium Bridge Car Park

Trophies

                      Conex cup for the first to finish.
                    Canadian, play boat, Humbledon special needs,
              general purpose (less than 4 metres), slalom,

racing kayak, sea kayak, doubles, 

                      1st lady (singles), youngest, oldest,

1st junior in each school year, (singles), years 4 to 11.

                  Team - 3 boats from same organisation.

Light refreshments will be provided at the finish

Safety regulations

All competitors must pay the entry fee and agree

to abide by the event regulations.

All competitors must wear

an approved buoyancy aid and the race numbered bib.

Helmets are compulsory for kayaks (singles and doubles)

and are strongly advised for Canadians.

 

Novice competitors should have had experience of paddling

on grade 2 water or be accompanied along the course

by an experienced canoeist.

The river is shallow, with frequent rapids, and capsizes do happen.

 

Safety boats will be deployed along the course
